The Coptic binding really isn't hard to do - you just repeat the steps, one by one, and you get into a sort of rhythm with it. Give it a try! Once you've mastered the simple version, there are all sorts of fancy variations which I am now keen to try. It's definitely a fun project to do. I do think using a curved needle would help, though. I am well practised with this, having made a lot of fabric boxes in the past. They say anything you want to learn to do, you can find on Youtube. It's totally brilliant. Yes, I've certainly been through some storms with my health but things definitely seem calmer now - at least for the moment, a state of affairs I hope will continue!

Have a great week.
ShoshiShoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-698455695833611307.post-27917920280538413842017-06-11T15:32:14.497+01:002017-06-11T15:32:14.497+01:00So beautiful and delicate looking. This latest project is something I've never attempted before, and I am pleased with how it turned out. I always think things are going to turn into a complete disaster and they don't usually, so I should learn really, haha! I've finished the little book now and I have just updated my blog with the final post on the subject. Making art to express emotions, personal history or abstract ideas is also something really new to me and it's an area I'd like to explore further.

I never worry if people don't manage to comment on the Wednesday. I don't usually manage to do all mine on the Wednesday, and I'm always pleased to receive comments at any time, so no worries!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend. It continues to be really cold and pouring with rain down here in "sunny" Devon. Ah well.
