Thank you for your lovely comment, and your good wishes - we are very relieved my hubby is OK, and I am doing fine, too. Gradually getting my strength back and I can feel my creative mojo stirring a little as I catch up with people's blogs and get inspired by what everybody's doing! Circular needles are so much easier to knit with than straight ones. Glad you like my brainless knitting - I've just started a brainful knitting project lol! Not knitting as yet, only un-knitting, but worth it in the end, I hope. It's something I can do while relaxing and it stops my mojo going completely off to sleep again!

Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #43Shoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-698455695833611307.post-25551644360205843342016-01-22T09:13:58.174+00:002016-01-22T09:13:58.174+00:00Extraordinary! The combination of the soft thermal fabric, the delicate tracery of the embroidery and waxy book page fragments is so evocative somehow, making me think of winter days both indoors and out... From a walk by a frosted pond, all wrapped up in cosy woollens, to being curled up by a fire with a good book, but somehow all at the same time! I adore how in the first one you incorporated that bit of old book paper, - the blending of fabric and paper, or indeed of the different fabrics, gives so much depth and texture to your work, - stunning like always!Astrid Macleanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09489025428063136772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-698455695833611307.post-5398915225297691972016-01-22T00:41:29.311+00:002016-01-22T00:41:29.311+00:00I don't even know what thermal curtains are, b...I don't even know what thermal curtains are, but I want some offcuts too! I adore them both, and am especially fascinated by the 2nd one with those swirly little flowers. I've been wanting to do some sewing and needlework lately, but I don't even own a sewing machine, which is a little limiting. You keep inspiring me though to try some hand stitching, who knows, maybe it will actually happen.Terri Coronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09493985728804810210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-698455695833611307.post-68085887588895336342016-01-21T20:49:45.586+00:002016-01-21T20:49:45.586+00:00Who would have thought thermal curtain offcuts cou...Who would have thought thermal curtain offcuts could be made so beautiful.!Paper rainbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13259871970757314671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-698455695833611307.post-68565936796161396352016-01-21T19:56:04.422+00:002016-01-21T19:56:04.422+00:00Lovely, Diana - I especially love the flowers agai...Lovely, Diana - I especially love the flowers against the blue.....Spring in the making!
