Well, it's been a while since I've taken part in What's on your Work Desk Wednesday, mainly due to the fact that I've had very little going on on my work desk! But in the lead up to Christmas I have had to get busy - tags, cards, small gifts etc etc - so here is what is on my desk this week, and I hope no-one will mind me returning after such a long break. Why not nip over there and see what other people have on their desks this week!
I have been making some cupcake toppers - some are going to a friend, along with a little cupcake book, some will be used over Christmas when I have friends and family round, and some have already gone to relatives who provided a wonderful lunch for us yesterday!
In the background are some tags I'm making - I shall be stamping images on plain brown paper to make matching gift wrap - that's the plan anyway!
This is one of the cupcakes that went over to relatives yesterday - I was going to use white cases but found these spotted ones a couple of days ago - I think they match perfectly!
Oh they are perfect and decorated so nicely, they match just right. Such care for detail.

Cupcake toppers along with a cupcake book, what a perfect gift idea! waving the #92 from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteYour cupcake toppers and cupcake are adorable! Good choice on the wrappers, they coordinate perfectly :) Love the glimpse of your tags - I wrap gifts in brown paper every year - that way I can make tags and never have to worry about them clashing with the pattern or colors of my wrapping paper!
ReplyDeleteFun cupcakes and toppers, Diana - they look like little Christmas puddings! The tags look as if they are going to be great, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, and I'm glad you like my swirls. I haven't done anything on my album today because after a visit to Mum's yesterday, bringing back loads of stuff after doing lots of sorting, I've been going through things, and doing a bit more sorting in my ARTHaven and some more downsizing too - I'm determined to reduce my now double width shelving unit to one section - the third section has already gone. One day, one day I shall be organised, lol!!

Your cupcake toppers (and cupcakes too for that matter) are perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday,
Nadia (WOYWW #58)
That cupcake is absolutely darling - I can't believe you found the blue and white paper cups after you made the toppers - it looks like the whole thing was planned. It would be hard to eat, I'd want to just keep it and look at it, but I think I'd manage!
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable cupcakes you have made. Bet they taste yum!

ReplyDeleteScrummy cakes! Beautiful colour scheme. Thanks for sharing! Lucy #16 x P.S. Just to let you know, you've got Word Verification on. Might deter folk from leaving comments about your lovely cakes! x
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of cupcake toppers, a great idea to add a personal touch.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my desk already

That's a great tip Diana, I'm going to use it Christmas Eve when I have 4 of my goddaughters round. We go to the pantomime first then back home for an indoor picnic. I will put their names on the sticks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your good wishes and may I wish you a wonderful time with your loved ones.
Kindest regards
