A walk around a local boatyard offered up some wonderful colours and textures to photograph. Even the boats whose bottoms were about to be scrubbed were wonderful photographic opportunities!
This week I am linking up with Mary over at Mosaic Monday and Sally over at Blue Monday
Great idea, Diana! Wonderful textures that you found in the boatyard, I particularly like the peeling paint.

Such yummy textures and patinas and soft colors. They make me crave the ocean!
ReplyDeleteWonderful texture and softness Diana!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a very keen yachtie so I've been visiting boatyards for our 43 years of married life!
All very familiar and lovely!
A beautiful composition of lichen, the rusty old door handle and peeling old paint!

ReplyDeleteThose colours and textures strike my own personal palet, really lovely and those colours in particular are some from nature that I have brought into our home for wall colours and decorating in my country, Shabby Chic styling~
ReplyDeletegreat photos Diana
ReplyDeletelovely textures and very atmospheric, with the peeling paint and the barbed wire etc.
Did you have to use any special lighting or were you just lucky.

Love these photos! You really have an eye for the greatest colors and textures. I love soft blues and weathered wood especially. What a great find.
