Winter Collages

I have finally finished making Christmas cards at last - what didn't help was my Big Shot breaking down a couple of weeks ago - my hubby has mended it several times but this time it's beyond help - so I've been die-cutter free and really missing it.   Of course from that moment on all my ideas required die-cutting, so I've been struggling to be creative!

I've had these little winter garden scenes hanging around from last winter - they just needed some extra embellishments to finish them off, so that's been a relaxing little project in between bouts of chaos and stress (namely present wrapping and supermarket shopping!).

I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW.

Thank you for your support and friendship over the past year and
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peaceful 2017.

  5. Hi Diana, I love the colour scheme. Gorgeous shade of blue on those stamens, are they? Exactly the shade of blue I wanted recently, lol, for some half pearls. I had to colour some with Alcohol inks to get what I wanted.Sending wishes for a very Happy & Peaceful Christmas from us both, Many hugs, Shaz #7 xx

  6. These are so beautiful Diana - like little magic doorways! How annoying that your Big Shot broke down! It's not like electronic, so that shouldn't happen. You know I had a big shot once and I sold it along with the few dies I had when I bought my Cameo. Now I wish I hadn't. It would be great for some quickies, not to mention embossing, which I now can not do! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! zsuzsa #20

  7. Oh bummer! I'm so so sorry, how annoying! Check out this giveaway and good luck: http://stamping-fantasies.blogspot.com/2016/11/christmas-candy.html
Brenda is so generous and works for Tattered Lace, hence the amazing giveaway. I just love these panels, each a work of art on its own, but combined what beauty! I was thinking yesterday that maybe I was more creative when I had less, so I hope the same for you. Christmas hugs, Autumn

  14. So these beautiful panels have now got those finishing touches that just make them little teenie works of art. I do so hope Santa/DH bring you a Big Shot for Xmas. Have a lovely one.

  15. What a gorgeous little trio - beautifully embellished. So glad you found a little creative time in between the Christmas preparations. I hope there'll be a BigShot in your stocking (though that would stretch it somewhat!), or at least somewhere in the Christmas sales afterwards...

Wishing you and yours a peaceful and joyous festive season and 2017.

  16. Oh Diana, these little panels are just darling... Perfect in every way! I do love miniature things and the detail in them is fabulous, as is the colour scheme! Sorry to hear your Big Shot broke down - and at such a moment too! I don't use a lot of dies but like Zsuzsa said, it's nice to have the option for a quickie without having to set up your electronic cutting machine. I use my Cuttlebug as I haven't got a Big Shot. How clever of your hubby to have kept the Big Shot going for so long.

Have a lovely Christmas, and happy belated WOYWW,

So sorry to hear about the technical difficulties.... hopefully solved soon (or already)! Thank you for your fabulous inspiration over the year - I always look forward to your posts, even though I've been a bit AWOL in commenting lately. Best wishes to you and yours for a fantastic 2017 - xxx Lynn
