This week I've put together a collection of photographs from our trip to Pennsylvania, and I'm linking up with Mosaic Monday and Color Me Weekly.
One of the highlights for me was a day at the Guggenheim art museum in New York - the most fabulous building, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and the most amazing collection of modern art.
We also drove to Washington DC for a few days and did a lot of great touristy stuff!
And finally, some of our travels around the local countryside.
Wow! The Art Museum looks fantastic and I love the plum coloured builiding.I wonder what it was used for?
ReplyDeleteI love those old houses!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old houses, beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photographs, especially how you have displayed them here..... we never got to go inside the Guggenheim art museum when we were in NY but I saw it recently in the film Mr Poppin's Penguins!!!!

Loved that old barn with the palette - such a lovely colour of building too. Wish we had farm buildings as pretty as that over here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a wonderful eye for photography...I was in DC last year, and your pictures put mine to shame! Wonderful shots of the Guggenheim, and that barn is absolute eye candy....And that shot looking down through the stone doorways...wonderful...
ReplyDeleteEach images conveys a mood, one that makes one ponder, very lovely~
ReplyDeleteI've never been to the East coast so I really enjoyed seeing these photos.. sounds like you had an amazing time :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, glad you had such a good time! There's so much to see in both NY and DC.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful blog...just found you because you found me first! Newest member of your fan club. I love your collages. As I was majoring in painting and art history in grad MFA school in Denton, Texas, I was wanting to do textiles, too. I couldn't do it all but love fibers. Xo Jenny
