This week over at the Studio Sublime we were given the challenge to focus on the quiet calm of the world as it re-energizes around us.
I rather liked the way the sun was shining through the leaf of this Senecio Greyi in my garden, showing that beautiful vibrant green surrounded by the heavy frost - actually the plant foliage is usually grey so I don't know where the green came from!
Beautiful shot! Is that frost on the edges of the leaf? It may have been the cold that temporarily made the leaf show it's "true colors."
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photograph! Interesting that the one green leaf appeared. But, it's so beautiful rimmed in frost.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog this week. Valentine's Day, at this gray time of year, is always fun for me!
I love the way hoar frost edges everything! A gorgeous photo :)

ReplyDeleteGasp! How beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot of the leaves with the frost, nicely done to get all that detail. Great image for the weeks prompt.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! So cold looking but also so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSO beautiful, you have such a great eye! The detail of the crystals, the way the light makes the leaf glow. And I so enjoy seeing these pictures of snow and frost, since we never seem to have any of that here. We did at least have a couple days of pouring rain over the weekend, which we needed so desperately.
ReplyDeleteit's so pretty. It definitely works for conveying a feeling of calm
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! As much as I hate Winter, there is something almost otherworldly and definitely gorgeous about delicate frost like that.
