Focus On Life - Beauty All Around

Over at the Studio Sublime this week Sally has asked us to look at and capture the beauty all around us.  One thing I absolutely love is the mixture of dark, brooding skies and bright sunshine, and with the storms and weather we've been having lately it's been happening rather a lot. I captured this photograph at Lymington harbour, and added a Pixel Dust texture to it.

  2. You have captured a beautiful moody scene, Diana. I don't know anything about using digital effects but the Pixel Dust effect looks great.

  5. Lovely... my husband is chomping at the bit to get his boat in the water! But it's usually all alone in the cove!

  10. Well, whatever Pixel dust is, it made this picture look like an oil painting! Great job.

  17. Hi Diana - thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - so uplifting and encouraging! Thank you for your good wishes for my hubby's retirement - I laughed at your remark about getting used to having yours around 24-7 because today, the first day of his retirement, mine is out all day! It's like Business as Usual lol!!

I am sorry to hear you've been going through some stuff recently, and I hope all will be resolved soon and you will soon be back among us, sharing your quite wonderful work with us again! I am glad you found my most recent post helpful - I loved Jennibellie's encouraging video and wanted to make sure as many people as possible got the chance to see it, and take on board its very important message. We all need a reality check sometimes, don't we!

Chin up, honeybuns, and looking forward to hearing that you are feeling your old self again!!!

    Hugs,
    Shoshi x
