Coral Dreams - A Boat Full of Treasures for Paper Artsy

I was so thrilled to be asked recently to do a blog post for Paper Artsy, on the theme of stencils.  

The finished piece was a little boat surrounded by coral and filled with seashells and other special treasures!  Step by step instructions and information on the techniques I used are on their blog here.

 

Night Garden

I love my garden in the late evening, when the sun has gone down and the scents are often at their strongest.
                                                                                     

   I've been using fresh foliage picked from the garden for making cyanotype sun prints, then screen printing with beautiful, creamy Jacquard textile paint, 
and lots of machine and hand embroidery - and there's lots more still to do!
