Very unusually for me my desk is in an appalling state!
I always clear away as I work - constantly putting things back in drawers and on shelves even knowing I'll be needing them again shortly!
What on earth happened!?!
Waiting to be put away: piles of fabric, cyantoype prints and a few pots of screen printing ink still in the packaging!
I am finding it difficult to concentrate and do any embroidery in such a mess so I know I have to tackle it soon!
I'm linking up with Julia over at What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.
It looks like a normal desk to me! Love your cyanotypes, they are really gorgeous. Such crisp images. Have a lovely creative day. Elaine x
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean....I always clear up after each project. Having stuff all over my desk makes me mad....well, madder than the usual state of affairs....
ReplyDeleteLove those cyanotypes...they are just gorgeous.
Hope you are ok....
Hugs, LLJ 9 xxx
I try to clear away after each project too otherwise I spend ages looking for stuff. What a beautiful blue that is.Barb#16xx
ReplyDeleteIn my mind, I clear things away every time, but in reality, there are times when I just work around the mess and then it gets to me and I stop and clear the area to begin again~
ReplyDeleteThat's the good thing about WOYWW you can still join in as long as there is something on your desk even if it is only a mess. LOL! Still loving your sun prints. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteJan was telling me about your cyanotypes - they really are fab! x jo
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way, Diana. I always clear away my mess as I go. I can't work in clutter! But, sometimes, like right now, I have things scattered everywhere! Got to get to it!
ReplyDeleteBut you know, looking at that beautiful mess makes me want to drop everything and embroider something! I so love those prints. Sandy Leigh #37
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic - how effective! :-)
ReplyDeleteStill looks stunning to me :D Thanks for the earlier visit x Soojay 13
ReplyDeleteWell done for sharing ;)
ReplyDeleteTidy now?
Kx
This is my favourite type of desk because I don't have to feel so guilty about the mess on mine now Lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 30
Yeah, I understand your pain, but can't relate - it looks pretty normal to me too! I love the prints, my word they have worked beautifully on that blue.
ReplyDeleteThose prints are beautiful! Your desk is more exciting than messy! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you have the occasional lapse, Diana, and have a desk that's as messy as mine gets sometimes lol!! At least it shows there's stuff going on on it! Your prints are so beautiful... Thank you for your lovely encouraging comment, and yes, it's a rollercoaster all right! I am very thrilled that Mr. Mojo and Mrs. Muse decided to return from their extended break even if I can't actually DO a lot at the moment - the feel-good factor of having so many exciting ideas rushing around in my head is a tremendous bonus. I'll get there in the end and just have to keep hanging in there and going with the flow. I do feel slightly better this a.m. but I hold that thought pretty lightly because it can all evaporate in a moment, leaving me pole-axed again!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #42
I tend to clean up as I go otherwise a huge me can accumulate very quickly . Love those cyantotype prints.

Those cyanotypes are beautiful! What are you going to do with them? (just curious). I would probably frame them, they are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I'm ever so late in commenting!
Have a good week,

Thank you for sharing this!! I hope I have not spread my own chaotic contagion across the pond - I always have good intentions of cleaning up, but I also have so much stuff in my desire to try things that my little space (formerly known as my living room) has become the makings of a crafty archeological dig! xx Lynn
ReplyDeleteYour table looks tidy compared to mine today. I'm loving your cyanotypes, I've not heard of those before so will have to investigat further. Thanks for showing me something new.
ReplyDeleteJill
Heehee, your desk looks more like mine now!
ReplyDeleteIt's a sign of your creative genius unleashed! I love the embroidery you're doing on that top piece!
