WOYWW #318

Very unusually for me my desk is in an appalling state!
I always clear away as I work - constantly putting things back in drawers and on shelves even knowing I'll be needing them again shortly!
What on earth happened!?!

Waiting to be put away: piles of fabric, cyantoype prints and a few pots of screen printing ink still in the packaging!

I am finding it difficult to concentrate and do any embroidery in such a mess so I know I have to tackle it soon!
I'm linking up with Julia over at What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

  2. I know what you mean....I always clear up after each project. Having stuff all over my desk makes me mad....well, madder than the usual state of affairs....
Love those cyanotypes...they are just gorgeous.
    Hope you are ok....

  4. In my mind, I clear things away every time, but in reality, there are times when I just work around the mess and then it gets to me and I stop and clear the area to begin again~

  5. That's the good thing about WOYWW you can still join in as long as there is something on your desk even if it is only a mess. LOL! Still loving your sun prints. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

  7. I'm the same way, Diana. I always clear away my mess as I go. I can't work in clutter! But, sometimes, like right now, I have things scattered everywhere! Got to get to it!

  15. I'm so glad you have the occasional lapse, Diana, and have a desk that's as messy as mine gets sometimes lol!! At least it shows there's stuff going on on it! Your prints are so beautiful... Thank you for your lovely encouraging comment, and yes, it's a rollercoaster all right! I am very thrilled that Mr. Mojo and Mrs. Muse decided to return from their extended break even if I can't actually DO a lot at the moment - the feel-good factor of having so many exciting ideas rushing around in my head is a tremendous bonus. I'll get there in the end and just have to keep hanging in there and going with the flow. I do feel slightly better this a.m. but I hold that thought pretty lightly because it can all evaporate in a moment, leaving me pole-axed again!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  18. Thank you for sharing this!! I hope I have not spread my own chaotic contagion across the pond - I always have good intentions of cleaning up, but I also have so much stuff in my desire to try things that my little space (formerly known as my living room) has become the makings of a crafty archeological dig! xx Lynn
