January's Forgotten Stash

Continuing on from my last post about using forgotten stash each month, I am still using the Heartfelt Creations flower stamp set and matching die, and making cards and tags with gusto!  The previous post can be seen here.

Here are a couple of cards using texture paste backgrounds and some Distress Stickles to highlight the petals.

  3. Hi Diana, love them both and do you know I think I might have some of these stamps that have been put away somewhere and forgotten.... better get them out soon. Happy crafting, Angela x

  4. Oh, such lovely harmony in your colors, Diana....and your compositions are just exquisite! I love the harlequin with that fabulous flourish peeking out on the first, and the little pearl beads on the second. Your work never fails to transport me to a serene and beautiful place - as I imagine your garden to be! xxx Lynn

  5. Fabulous composition was what came Tony mind Diana and the second card is my favourite too.
You are good using your stash. I'm still picking through mine. The tiniest pieces seem the hardest to let go of haha

  6. Both gorgeous, Diana! Well done. I need to use up stash too. What do you use for those lovely springy stems and threads? Not sure what to call them lol! They really add something to the design.

  8. Thank you for the info about the sisal, Diana - I shall have to look out for this. Great idea to colour it yourself with distress inks. I sometimes do this with ribbon - it saves buying a lot of different colours and you can get the exact colour to match your project.

  10. What wonderful florals - again it's that monochrome version which has caught my eye. I love the delicate blush of colour just spattering in from the edges.
