Spring Tea Bag Embroideries

I've been working on these little tea bags this week.
I started them a few weeks ago and have been finishing them off with
velvet covered buttons, hand embroidery, lace, beads and some water-colour painting.

I'm linking up with Julia and Jan for the 7th Anniversary of WOYWW.  I still have a couple of ATC's if anyone would like to swap.

  1. They look fantastic Diana and I was lucky enough to see them "in the flesh" as it were! I'm not sure I've visited since then? If not, it was so lovely to meet you and such a fun day. I'm very excited to see that you are the name above mine with an asterisk. Have a great day xx

  2. Happy 7th WOYWW!! Oh, I'm so pleased that you joined in the crafty madness Diana, because otherwise our paths would never have crossed! I feel that we are on the same wavelength and it has been good to meet you and realise that you have the same sense of humour!! Your work is as beautiful as ever and Fiona made me smile as she'll be so excited to be the recipient of your ATC!! Yours arrived a couple of days ago - I love it :-)

  18. Hi Diana, this is totally gorgeous, as is your ATC, which arrived yesterday, I think it was. May have been the day before, lol. Mine went in the post today, have to organise Hubby taking me to the Post Office, which requires giving him a bit of notice, as he works nights. Have a great week, Happy Anniversary, Hugs, Shaz #8 xx

  24. It feels like it's been forever since I visited you. In fact, I would have been by sooner, but not long after I was finally able to link up, my electricity went out for over 12 hours due to thunderstorms that knocked the power out. Now it seems my internet is having a meltdown, and I have to reboot after each person I visit and leave a comment to.

Your ATCs are genuine works of art, and I am truly in love with them. You always do such great work. Happy 7th Anniversary from # 5.

  25. My mind must have been elsewhere. I meant to say your tea bags, not ATCs. And yes, I rebooted just to let you know I made this silly mistake!

  26. Hello Diana, I'm sorry I haven’t managed to comment earlier, once again life got in the way! However, I have promised myself to get round all the desks this week to celebrate our 7 years of WOYWW friendship - so here I am. Your work is exquisite, so delicate and delightful, so much so I would never thought they were teabags. Have a great weekend, Elizabeth x #66

  27. Another wow, Diana! As you know, I love teabag art, and to see them with your beautiful touch is great - the contrast with the vibrant green and white on the neutral teabag background is fabulous, and lovely to see your covered buttons again. Amazing to embroider on them. These are very small pieces of work!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
