May's Forgotten Stash

Each month I'm rooting out forgotten and never used stash with a view to using it or moving it along.  For May I found a set of little frames by BLine Designs.  They came on a cube and there were four of them originally, but after peeling them off many moons ago I seem to have lost one!
It was hard finding a project for them but I decided they would be little windows onto a Spring garden.

I am joining in with What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday this week and before I do anything else I would like to send Julia a huge Get Well hug - I am so glad her surgery went well and I am sending positive, healing thoughts and lots of love her way.
Last week was the ATC swap and these are the ones I sent out (I made 7 but somehow only photographed 6)....
And these are the ones I've received so far...
The wonderful bee, so happy and sunny, from BJ (BJCraftcorner) and the beautiful heart from Shaz (Silverwolf) - I am loving that heart stamp!  Thank you so much ladies, it was a joy receiving them through the post.

  1. What is it about that mossy green velvet that is so appealing? It just leaps out from the screen! Mind you, I've also fallen in love with those pebbles too, I can't work out what you've used to make them - it's ever so effective!
Hopefully my ATC will arrive soon, I think I sent you one as I did earmark one for you. Let me know if it doesn't arrive and I'll send a spare...funnily enough, mine is very similar to Shaz's!
    Hugs, LLJ xxxx

  20. Lovely little windows on a spring garden, Diana. So effective - I do hope you find the fourth one!!!
Great ATCs you made to send out, too. Well done. It seems like everyone had a great time last week sending out all their beautiful art work.
Thanks for visiting - and yes, I agree, birds and animals do tend to move when I get the camera out as well - but this little fella was MOST obliging. we also managed to get some good shots at Martin Mere whilst there for the day - which was great, too.
    Take care. God bless.

  22. I just want to stroke that moss green fabric. So gorgeous! Your work always makes me want to touch though. And those teeny tiny pebbles. Do you think you'll ever do a book one day? I have my eye on the Anne Kelly one that's coming out soon, the textile beasties on the cover have sold it to me already!

  26. Hi Diana, and so sorry to be so long moderating your comment, for which very many thanks - such lovely kind and encouraging words as always! I have been incredibly busy for the past week and in between, crashed out on the recliner too poorly to do anything (I seem to have lost the art of pacing!) and haven't looked at my pending blog comments for days... I have to say your ATCs are the most stunning I've ever seen - I love them all!! I love your little garden pieces too and that delicious green mossy velvet which keeps making an appearance! Truly wonderful.

Sorry to hear about your computer woes and hope they get sorted soon. I personally love Win10 and wouldn't go back now, but I've heard of others who have had problems with it.

Great to hear that Julia has come through her surgery OK. I'm really out of touch with everyone at the moment and need to spend about a week on my computer catching up with everything.

If so, again I am astounded at your ability to so beautifully create in the miniature size!! Your ATCs are lovely - lucky recipients! I love your use of the flower set from Heartfelt Creations - it is on my list, and this confirms again why! xxx Lynn
