Leafy Tag and WOYWW

What a nice week it's been despite the grey clouds!
Brittany at Fiber Haus has run an article on my work for her newsletter,
and I was so pleased with how it turned out - thank you Brittany.
Here's a link to the article and for any one who loves yarn her website is well worth a look.

Here's a tag I made, it turned out more autumn-y than wintery, perhaps I should have added snow, but then it would have been too Christmassy!!

I'm linking up with Julia over at What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday.

  5. Absolutely beautiful Diana. I particularly love the fact that the tag is an outline rather than solid; really unusual and classy. Congratulations on the article. Have a good week. Sarah #18

  6. I'm so pleased and thrilled to see that your astonishing talents have been recognised on other forums. That tag is gorgeous with or without snow/frost!
Btw, is forums the correct plural? I had a moment there thinking what else it could be - forumii? Fora? My Latin O level has deserted me, lol!

  10. I think I better move near to you Diana, the weather has been horrendous here for weeks with snow, rain, hail, fog. Its felt like weve had no daylight.
So its lovely to see your beautiful bright blog and creations.

  16. Hi Diana, lovely tag. It's a difficult time of the year for making wintery cards but this looks lovely, maybe it just needs frost or wind Lol! which is what we seem to be getting at the moment. Have a great woyww, Angela x17x

  23. Oh Diana, that is just beautiful...

Thank you for your visit and your sweet comment, and I'm glad Lily's antics made you laugh! I thought it was very clever of her to do that! She ended up very rotund after all that extra food! I'm glad you liked my efforts with the Distress Oxides too - they are gorgeous to use and I really like the chalky effect they give.

My pre-assessment appointment went very well today - very thorough. I am going back next week to see the anaesthetist, and then I hope I'll soon get a date to go in and get it sorted at last. Good news - my hubby's plaster came off today and he's now got a boot for a fortnight, after which he will be able to drive again, and he will be able to look after me when I come out of hospital.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  25. Congrats on the article! I love the tag, Autumny indeed but you are right to leave it this way and not turn it into a 'Christmas-tag' - it's beautiful as it is! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, have a great weekend. Hug from Holland, Marit #24

  26. Beautiful tag! In Autumn the leaves are colourful, in winter, they are just as you have them on the tag - so I say it's a great winter tag! Thank you for letting me know about my link, sometimes when I add my new link on top of the old one, the old one is longer for some reason, so it doesn't work with the added letters at the end. I will pay better attention to this! Thanks for your visit, Lindart #37 (now!)
