I've been enjoying the Olympics while stitching - especially now, as anything going on in the Velodrome is by far my favourite and I shall be barely moving from the living room for the next few days!
I have turned a couple of the embroideries into cards and my mini mobile desk is getting more untidy by the day!
I love the way you combine fabrics, colours and stitches. The "daisy" is my favourite. xx Jo
ReplyDeleteStunning combination of fabrics and stitching Diana. Enjoy the Olympic coverage! Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteDoes your stitching get faster if the Olympic action is exciting? Lol! Your work is exquisite especially the daisies, they’re gorgeous!

I really love your embroidery and the cards are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for calling by at mine earlier...I’ve had another manic day so far shortening the sleeves on 4 coats! So far I’ve not heard from my bride so I’m still hoping she comes later.
Hugs,

A mobile desk sounds like a great idea and the embroidered pieces are beautiful. We seem to be doing well at the Olympics. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela xXx

ReplyDeleteOh my Diana, what gorgeous cards, love your stitching, something I still can't do awaiting my Carpal Tunnel to be sorted if it is Carpal Tunnel, nerve tests next week. I'm only up to November 2020 but there again only have photos printed to the end of 2020 so will need to order some more soon for this year - horrah. Still trying my hardest NOT to order too many! #Happy WOYWW BJ#24
ReplyDeleteNever mind your mini mobile desk getting untidy - it is what you produce that is worth looking at. And what a lovely set of things you have on show for us to look at.
ReplyDeleteYou do some beautiful work - and those daisy type flowers (I do not know the name) are absolutely beautiful with their large centres and black stems.
Thanks for sharing
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Wow these are just stunning, beautiful job with the stitching and love the backgrounds to them too!
ReplyDeleteSo exquisite - your wildflowers are utterly delightful. I've had the events from the swimming and the gymnastics (which are my favourites) on continuously as I've been sorting and painting etc... it only happens once every four years (or five, or three!!).

Enjoyed reading and looking at what you have been up to.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been active on WOYWW for such a long time and I lost my Artistic mojo ages ago. I am hoping for inspiration looking at prolific artists like yourself.
Beautiful embroidery
Sorry I am late visiting, but Wednesdays are a busy day. I love your embroidered cards and agree with you the velodrome cycling was very exciting. Love the Olympics and seeing sports other than football. Ani
