I made this a couple of weeks ago, continuing my journey with Randel Plowman's Collage Workbook - I had to find a word or phrase and work it in to the collage, so I got out my old typewriter, found some old book scraps and set to work!
I then made some backgrounds for the ATC swap next week followed by some 'extreme gardening', tackling the brambles, ivy and next door's Leylandii that are trying to take over the garden. The end result of all this hard work is tennis elbow! Not nearly as innocuous as it sounds!
Despite this I'm planning on taking part in the swap and will definitely make a few extra ATC's for anyone wanting to swap, especially now that I already have the backgrounds prepared!
I'm loving what you've been busy with this week Diana and am really looking forward to the swap next week.

Ooooh, I do like your collage - it made me smile as you’ll see next week! Boo about the tennis elbow, it’s not much fun at all, hope some rest gets it sorted. Btw, I love your pale purple backgrounds for the ATCs, please can we swap?!

Tennis elbow sounds nasty - I have a sore knee - probably what was once called "housemaid's knee"! Old age has little going for it. I would love to swap ATCs but would need your address so maybe email me. I love the typography collage - fun to use your old typewriter too. x Jo
ReplyDeleteSorry about your elbow, tennis elbow can be quite painful. Great collage - will your ATC’s be collages I wonder :). Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, great to see you all prepped for making the ATCs. I would love to swap with you. Pleased you got some gardening done but shame about the elbow. I've decided to do a bit each day but as it's raining today that's a good excuse to stay in Lol! Wishing you a lovely creative and happy woyww, Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, best wishes for that tennis elbow, went thru therapy last year for that which also turned into a shoulder issue. If you want to ATC swap send me an email hilsyl@gmail.com I'm in USA if not I understand. The theme came easy to me and I've got a few finished, Enjoy a great week,
ReplyDeleteLove your latest piece. I did a blog challenge called "Type" and got lost of images of things related to old typewriters etc. If you need any stamping I would be happy to share them. I love the neutral colours you have chosen and it reminds me of a new top I have just bought (literally today at the garden centre). All big and baggy, just like the rest of me.

I do hope the tennis elbow doesn't last long Diana. Love the latest piece - a typewritten phrase always looks good. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
ReplyDeletegorgeous work with the collage! hope the elbow feels better soon. My knees creak too, must get round to doing something about a proper desk one day - but it's been 13 years.... Helen #1
