Two collages from the challenges in the Collage Workbook - both based around numbers. The backgrounds are pages from an old Logarithms book I found during my clear out, and a technical plan the Hubs was throwing out from his days as an electronics engineer - I think he only parted with it because I said I could find a use for it - and then of course I had to!!
Some mono prints are sitting on my desk at the moment - I'm gearing up to use some of them in collages but I'm not sure when or how - as usual there's a lot going on in my head but not very much in practice!
Just adding a quick question - has anyone else had trouble setting up email notifications for comments on their blog - it's completely disappeared so any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Well, I think you’ve got inspiration for your ATCs right there, there is nothing quite so connected as maths and especially logarithms! I do love the collage, your hubby’s ephemera was well used!

That book is amazing and I'm enjoying going through it and though I haven't actually used it yet I have got round to a new journal project at last. Pleased you found use for hubbies old stuff, though bet it wasn't difficult. Happy WOYWW with hugs, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteGoood morning Diana 🤗 what treasures ⭐ you have used to create your collages ... I may have swooned over them ... beautiful they are!! I'm sorry I can't help you with the email as I've been having a similar thing happening on mine 😔 Wishing you joy in your days with love and hugs winging your way Tracy #10 xxxx
ReplyDeleteYour mono prints are little works of art in themselves. The maths based collages are lovely and such random, unusual bits of ephemera well used! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteI so am enjoying these collages of hyours. I especially like the clock and log one - how fab was that though to find your hubbies old stuff to use as well. Those are beautiful shell pictures you have used on the other one too so I am a little torn as to which I like the best. Both equally lovely when it gets down to it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the other prints you have found, I am sure you will have no problem in finding inspiration shortly.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
Great use of the old textbooks - I think I have a few hanging around my basement - I should take a look! Have a great week, Lindart #19
ReplyDeleteGreat collages. Have been reading the book. I am not sure I actually like his collages except for the bird ones. I discovered he uses the transfer method a lot. I printed some images onto vintage ledger paper with the idea of allowing some of the background to remain, it gives a little of the look he gets. If you like them I will email them to you. Happy WOYWW. Angela #16
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous collages Diana - I especially like the use of the fibonacci images on the second one. Great that you could combine stuff that is yours and hubby's as well. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

ReplyDeleteCan't help with email set up...I've been trying for months to change or delete my border and the blog helps are missing the piece I need they have been working on re adding? it but never shows up for me ! GOOD LUCK
DeleteFantastic collages, I like how you had to use them since you told your hubby you could :) You did good! Your prints look great, curious how you end up using them as well.
ReplyDeleteSorry no help for your problem, I do know that sometimes I get an email saying someone has commented on my blog and when I go to see it on my post it is not there. I am wondering if it is people who add their blog address after their post, not sure but it happened again today. Hope you get some help with that problem.
Loving the collage and mono prints, good luck with your email set up.
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay safe,
