A busy desk this week!
A collage from the Collage Workbook challenges - this week incorporating stamping - I used some little seedling stamps that I hand carved a long time ago and gold leafed a few -I meant to gold leaf just one as a 'statement seedling' but I find it hard to stop leafing whenever I start so it reached 7 before I found my self-restraint!!
I also did some mono printing - here are a few that are still on my desk, out of what felt like hundreds I had printed!
I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.
Hi Diana, loving the Mono pieces. The only touble with mono printing is that once I start I can't stop Lol! Nice ATC too. Wishing you a happy and creativewoyww. Hugs, Angela x13x
ReplyDeleteFun post Diana, I love the little carved stamp you used. I was going to try making one with an idea I had last week but spent time with friends. I've never tried the mono printing. Yours are beautiful. thanks for sharing and enjoy a great week
ReplyDeleteIf I gold leafed anything, the whole house would end up covered, including the cat! I have no restraint when it comes to shimmery sparkly things *grin*. Love the mono prints, they’ll make such lovely cards or other pieces. I’m glad the replacement got there quickly, the original is lost in space somewhere, lol!

Love your collage and the mono prints. 7 is a perfect number you know๐. I am not quite sure what monoprinting is. Did you use a geli plate and a stencil? Happy WOYWW. Angela #15
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love Jan's seashell painting. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove the mono prints, what beautiful designs you have on them and such lovely colours too. Similarly I love your collage piece. I can understand you getting carried away with the gilding. I would be exactly the same, the results are so beautiful.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

ReplyDeleteI've never gold leafed anything but like Jan, I think I might need to show a little restraint! Yours looks beautiful and the mono prints are lovely. Jan has a knack with her water colours doesn't she. xx Jo

ReplyDeleteI am in love with your monoprints. You make amazing prints. I can't seem to get the hang of it, so I am truly impressed with the ones you chose to share with us.
ReplyDeleteI have all the materials for gold leafing, but have never done it. I really love your gold leaves.
This is the second time I've been without electricity in the past two days and a watermain broke in Wichita and we have to boil water until further notice. That's why I'm so late visiting. Happy WOYWW from # 1.
