Word Collage and ATC Swap

This week I've made another collage for my journey through The Collage Workbook by Randel Plowman - for this one I had to use one word only in it and not a lot else!

In my newly reorganised studio I've 'lost' a sepia pen, two bottles of epoxy resin and a small office date stamp - each has been put in a convenient, logical and completely different place to where they used to live!  I am resisting buying more as I know that as soon as I do they will resurface!  However, despite having no sepia pen I've managed to start a new collage!

This week has also seen more happy mail - a beautiful ATC and card from Sylvia, it arrived more quickly than I thought and I love the little extras - thank you so much Sylvia.  That leaves just one ATC due and I have a horrible feeling it's probably been lost in the post but I'm keeping my fingers crossed it might still turn up.

I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.

  1. I have two ATC's coming but doubt one will arrive as she has not replied to my message as to how to get my address. Not to worry.
Oh dear, Diana, I know only too well how reorganising can lead to missing things., I lost my Mica flakes for so long that when I did find them I had forgotten what I wanted them for. I don't think that will happen with your pen but it did happen to me.
The new collage looks lovely and I am amazed that you managed to do the one word and hardly anything else page. Well done!

  3. I do that all the time, sort out things and put them in “better”places, but go back to where they were and can’t find them. Hope they turn up without you having to go and buy more. Happy WOYWW. Angela #2

  5. Now you've made me happy and I know it's not just me that puts things in safe places and then can't find them but you're right not to buy new, I've done that before and then found the lost one before the new one arrived. I even did that with the pattern when making my wedding dress so it's not something that has developed as I've got older, I've always been able to do it Lol! Pleased the ATC arrived, I think I have just one more to come. Well done in getting on with the collage projects too, I'm saying nothing about my efforts at the moment other than I keep getting distracted with other stuff! Have a lovely woyww. Hugs, Angela x6x

  6. I love re-organising but dread the fall out - as you say there is always something in its new, logical place that eludes me - sometimes for years!! Gorgeous artwork as always, Happy WOYWW, Cindy xx #17

  11. I'm glad it's not just me who puts stuff away nicely and then forgets where it is. It does usually happen when I have found a new home for something - never a good idea! Your artwork is lovely - I love the thought of something with sepia - it's always so soft and ageless. xx Jo

  12. So glad you received it. I have NO Faith in the mailing system.. but I actually think mail out of USA is much quicker than within...no one here wants to work full time...don't show up/ play on their phone's 1/2 the time . it's a horrific mess. Enjoy a great weekend our weather today is great. No wind and in the 70's
