After a much longer than anticipated break from crafting I have finally been back in my studio and done a little bit of creating. These collages are a great way of getting back into it and I really enjoy working in this very small format - they are approximatley 2" sqauare. I randomly picked the subject and colour out of a jar I have on my desk, and landed up with 'landscapes' and 'orange', which led me straight to sunsets!

ReplyDeleteThere are inchies, twinchies and thrinchies depending on the size and your little squares fall into the middle section. But yours are enchanting. Some of the prettiest I have seen. Love the blue/grey that falls mainly into the background and the orange/ochre that provides the pictorial part along with the touches of black providing a pop. Saying that I love the third from the bottom one with the field of white flowers.

I love the smaller format that you excel at, it's seems so mindful. Is it one jar or a jar with prompts and a jar with colours? And do you ever put one straight back into the jar?!!
