Christmas Bottle Brush Trees

It's Wednesday again and time for WOYWW.  This week on my desk I have been finishing off some bottle brush trees that I started glittering a couple of weeks ago.   It's been a great way of using up some of my stash of old beads, earrings and trinkets, and I've really enjoyed feeling festive.  However, the weather has warmed up again and the sun is shining so all Christmassy stuff is on hold while it lasts!

  3. I love your little trees, Diana - as usual you have chosen such a subtle colour palette. The bases are very imaginative, too! Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment - I am glad you like my bereavement card, and also my new rug! That was one of Mum's and after her TIA the OT said she should get rid of it because it was a trip hazard, so it went up in the loft, now to be given a new lease of life! I agree that it improves the look of my office and makes it very cosy.

Absolutely no need to feel guilty about not nominating anyone for the Blog Hop! I do hope as a result of it that many more people will visit your wonderful blog and enjoy your gorgeous work. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to bring it to their attention!

    Happy WOYWW,

Thanks for visiting. Yes, I was a bit amazed at quite how much I managed to achieve over the weekend - but I had an enormous amount of fun. It was just so very different after all that wedding dress sewing!
    Take care. God bless.

  10. So sweet!! I love your take on them, and of course so beautifully photographed. This got me excited about decorating for Christmas, it'll be nice to decorate in a new place. But first I'm hoping to decorate for Halloween in a couple of weeks - I like to do it on the first weekend in September that there's the slightest hint of coolness in the air, no fun doing it in the heat. But sometimes that doesn't happen and I have to wait til October.

  13. You've done it again! Each week I look forward to seeing what gorgeousness is on your blog but this week took my breath away. I adore these little trees and your photography is superb. I would like the second pic as a Christmas card...seriously. You need to send it off to Vistaprint or something and sell them! I'd buy them :-)
