I wouldn't say I particularly like Poinsettia plants - I can pretty much guarantee that any given to me at Christmas will be dead by February - however, I'm rather keen on the Tim Holtz Poinsettia die that I've used for my Christmas tags this year. In fact, I've been making tags like crazy - here's a small selection of what I've been making this week to share with WOYWW.
It will take a very special gift to outshine these tags. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! To an 'arty' person especially your tags would be a gift themselves!!!!

Wow, they're gorgeous! I can see why you're fond of that die xx
ReplyDeleteYour tags are gorgeous, Diana! I love the colors, but I always love you're color choices! The embossing and the poinsettias are just lovely! Lucky people who will be receiving these tags!
ReplyDeletePaper flowers are so much easier to look after than real ones! These look fab! Lovely tags! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #30
ReplyDeleteWow, those are fantastic! It almost seems a crime to write on them but the recipients will be thrilled, I know :-) the different patterns of the embossed backgrounds are lovely.
ReplyDeleteNo need to thank me for the compliments, I meant every word. The little Christmas tree is on my mantelpiece as I type, I look up and smile when it catches my eye....love it!

Thanks for the visit Diana, I was slightly distracted when I noticed Steampunk labelon your side bar.
ReplyDeleteI have that book, don't know if you are aware but here in Lincoln we have the largest Steampunk festival in the world which goes on over three days. Anyhow that's not really what I'm here for so better get on Lol!
Your tags are gorgeous and the flowers should last much longer than the real thing.
Happy crafting, Angela x 28
WOW is the word for these. Stunning with all the glitter and gorgeous poinsettia's. Keep smiling and creating.
ReplyDeleteNow these tags are real gems. Beautiful!! Love the colours!

Oh my these are SO gorgeous ! I love the dusky creamy ones at the top - could you share how you got that colour effect ? Thanks Ali #51
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful, Diana - I especially love the pale ones. Everyone will be rushing to get hold of that die now. Thanks for sharing your lovely work. Hugs, Chris # 15
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness.I am not a big fan of the average grocery store poinsettia either, but yours are another matter entirely. So beautiful - just love the color palettes you used and the dies themselves are gorgeous. I thought the neutral ones couldn't be beat til I saw the red one, it's such a soft red.and looks so beautiful against that particular green and aged paper color. You know I have refused to let myself get into the whole die cutting thing for fear I would go totally overboard, but these make it awfully tempting!
ReplyDeleteStunning absolutely stunning.

They are lovely Diana. All equally as appealing. Well done .
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info about the embossing folder, Diana. Unfortunately it seems to be obsolete/out of stock everywhere, but I shall keep my eyes open on Ebay. I really like the effect.

How creative and how gorgeous these are Diana!!! Sorry I am running late this week. Spent Tuesday and Wednesday in hospital and trying to get my life back ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for yet another lovely comment about my album, Diana - only the final page to complete now! The last few will be devoted to details of how the book was constructed and embellished, and maybe a page or two for my niece's own notes and photos. Glad you like the reverse stencilling tecnhique - I've used this before - it's useful for turning masks into stencils!
