No time for arty crafty stuff this week,
but baubles are everywhere
and the decorations make the house feel magical!
I want to send huge hugs and heartfelt thanks to all my arty crafty friends in blogland who leave such kind, thoughtful and inspiring comments, and I would like to wish everyone who celebrates it a very Merry Christmas and a happy, sparkly and creative New Year.

Even your bauble photos are a work of art!! Love 'em :-). Also those beautiful cut crystal perfume bottles...you'd better watch out for Julia..she's got a thing for crystal like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your friendship and support Diana...also the beautiful things you have made for me. I really enjoyed meeting up last year....hopefully the next one won't be too far away!!
Hugs, LLJ 11 xx
Oh Diana those baubles in the last photo are my favourite baubles they take me back to my childhood. Every year I look for a set but only have seen single ones that don't match up to the originals. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are pure eye candy....Wishing you a merry christmas and a safe and happy 2016.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous baubles, Diana. Great photos. Well done. John will be home with care packages and Oxygen - so our Christmas will certainly be different!! But at least he will be home. Thanks for the visit and your comments.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, as always and Merry Christmas Blessings to you Diana and a Wonderful New Year~
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Happy Christmas
ReplyDeleteI'm running behind, but that's what I've done for the past two weeks. I adore those baubles, especially because many look very old.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a joyous, safe Christmas, filled with good health, happiness, and love. Happy WOYWW and happy holidays from Bleubeard, Squiggles, and #2 (that's me).
These are so beautiful Diana - your signature subtle colour scheme, and I do love the pearlescence. I still have one or two of those gorgeous vintage glass baubles with the fancy indentations in them - so precious!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely, happy time over Christmas and all the very best for the new year, when I do hope I shall be back in full creative mode again! It can't come soon enough...

Thanks for your return visit, Diana, and glad you like the look of my rather sticky mince pies!! I was tempted to buy the pastry this time but then thought, no, it's so easy to make and cheap too. I just bung the ingredients in my Kenwood Chef which saves a lot of work. Rolling it out was quite hard work for someone whose muscles tire rapidly, but I'd have had to do that with bought pastry anyway. My mum made the best pastry in the world and mine never quite measures up, but it's not bad!!

What can I say your photos are delightful and how I would to see those baubles in situ.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Diana

What a beautiful, vintage, gleaming post! Some of these baubles are very like the few remaining from my Czech grandmother which still go on to our tree each year. Hope you are enjoying a peaceful and joyous festive season.

Your photos are just magical. I adore old glass ornaments, can't get enough of them, and yours are just beautiful. I really love the one in the photo by itself especially. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and that you have a happy New Year too, however you celebrate.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful to have you as a blog friend.
