I have finally managed to make a handful of tags after quite a struggle to come up with any ideas - in desperation I went back to my die-cut scraps bag and used up a load of bits from the last couple of years.
It's alchemy, that's what it is....how can you pick out bits from your scraps bag and come up with beauties like that? It all looks so perfectly planned - but then sometimes, don't you think that things work better when you wing it? HUgs, LLJ 8 xxx
Those die-cuts look superb with their inked edges and the pearls in the middle! I can't believe they came out of a "scrap bag". That must be quite a scrap bag LOL! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #22
I love your tags, Diana! Amazing what can be done with leftovers! Still no art from me but I'm hoping once the holiday rush is over I'll get back to it!
Breathtaking. That's all. Just gorgeous! There is hope for me, because I just found a whole box of luscious scraps I had forgot about! Happy Wednesday. Sandy Leigh #38
And what a start! They are absolutely stunning, Diana - beautiful, subtle backgrounds and such glorious poinsettias! I so prefer them in white, but I do like that tiny touch of red from the berries in the first one. Altogether enchanting. Alison x
A fantastic start and all three are stunning!! Love the subtle colours and the wonderful crackle effects! Those poinsettias just never fail! Loving those little berries too, just the right kind of red (in my book anyway)....
Diana, your work with neutrals never fails to absolutely amaze, and these tags are no exception. LOVE your details that really pop each one, like the harlequin background. the little red berries, and the script background. And your flowers are stunning... love their fullness! I think you are on to something here!! xxx Lynn
Amazing scrap made tags, they are gorgeous. Sorry to be so late replying but I got to be my friend's birthing partner Thursday evening so my mind has been other places since!!! Then we got the tree (a week later than usual) and then the decoration.... Nearly sorted there though. Hugs BJ#28
Thanks for your return visit, Diana, and for your kind words about my tangles-over-photos and the album in general! I've done a bit more work on it since, but no photos yet - I've had a busy time since Wednesday and still up to my eyes in this and that. The Skype interview went well and I look forward to the feature she is going to do, and hopefully she will have some success getting the powers that be to agree to a fully-fledged art board after talking to me!
These are just beautiful and exquisitely detailed as always! They would be a wonderful gift on their own. Have a Merry Christmas, my wonderful blog friend.
