Nests in Spoons and WOYWW

I have been missing in action for a while I'm afraid, spending the last few weeks getting to grips with some health issues and the resulting change of lifestyle.
I am happy to say all now seems under control, and with life getting back on an even keel I'm feeling a little more like doing some crafting - so in honour of Spring I have been making some little nests, and using up some of my vintage cutlery stash too.

I'm joining in with Julia over at What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday this week.

  4. Oh Diana, I hope things are back on an even keel for you, I hate these health interruptions that cause changes. Don’t let any changes become isolating will you? I fell into that hole a bit. Meanwhile, Ohmy..those nests are sublime...i knew I likes spoons for some reason, they are a wonderful way to use them!

  15. Hi Diana, so lovely to see you returning to these gorgeous little miniature pieces - I so love this work of yours! They are quite exquisite. I'm sorry to hear that you also have been having health problems - I am just back from 3 weeks of being in hospital and convalescence and it's going to take a long time to recover and get my strength back. I hope at least that you are feeling more yourself now.

  18. Thank you for your visit to my blog and your sweet comment, Diana. Yes, my poor hubby had a bad time over it and had to face the reality that he could have lost me and it doesn't help that he's a terrible worrier at the best of times! I think it's often much worse for spouses than for us because they feel so helpless. I am doing very well and recovering nicely, and no longer suffering from attacks of extreme weakness - I am still resting a lot but definitely getting better. I am absolutely determined to go to the County Show on Friday and I'm sure I shall be fine, sitting on my buggy all day, and I can crash out afterwards! I think such a cracking day out will really give me a boost. As for Ruby, I think she was just a bit frightened and I probably smelt all wrong - she's such an uncomplicated happy little soul and was soon back to her usual affectionate self. I am spending as much time as possible with them so they are used to me.
