ATC's and New Stash

I've treated myself to some beautiful new hand-dyed felt this week, for no other reason than I was seduced by the colours!
I also have seed beads and a pile of fabric ATC blanks, edges sewn and ready to work on for the swap.

I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.

  2. Ooooh, look at those gorgeous colours, I’d have wanted to buy some too! You temptress, you..... Love the little seed beads, may they stay put in the dish and not escape everywhere (can you tell there’s a story behind that remark, lol?!). Have fun!

  3. Gorgeous colours, especially the mossy green (and I am not a green fan normally). Those little charms you sent me would look lovely on the fabric atc's but sorry, you are not having them back. Lynne has just given me an idea for them so sorry.
Enjoy whatever you decide to do - it will be lovely I just know.

  6. We all know your ATCs will be exquisite - looking forward to the swap! I'm just feeling a bit jittery as I haven't even come up with an idea - I think I'll just have to sit down and do whatever comes to me in that particular moment! The glass beads look like little jewels and I can't blame you for wanting those hand-dyed felt pieces just for the colours! Happy WOYWW, Diana! xx zsuzsa #22

  7. Believe it or not I've finished my ATCs mainly because I got confused with the dates and kept thinking I needed to get a move on but pleased I did now. I so love that felt but it's making me feel guilty as I bought some the last time I went to the NEC and it's still sitting there waiting to be used which is just not good enough I know!!! Sending lots of woyww hugs, Angela x17x

  12. Oooh, I love it when you can make that sort of purchase. It also means my eyes have some feasting to look forward to at some point! Loving the start of your ATCs.

  13. That all looks very intriguing. The only felt I have bought is the thin stuff which looks miles apart from that delicious stuff. I can see it would make for a better quality item, but is it used basically the same as the thin stuff or does it have other uses? Also how much thicker is it? Love Angela #10

  14. Oooh Diana, those felt squares are good enough to eat! I'm not surprised you couldn't resist them. The colours are gorgeous. The felt looks wonderfully thick and soft as well. Can't wait to see what you make with it all.

Thank you for your visit, and for your good wishes for my appointment. I had a phone call from them this morning, postponing it till the 24th (only a few days on) because they had a flood at the unit today and have had to cancel everyone's appointments in order to clear up the mess! Always something, isn't there - but I don't suppose a few days will make much difference to me.

I'm going to have to make sure Ruby doesn't wreck the throw once it's in use! She was fascinated by the loose curly tail on one of the kitties! I'm so glad you like my Purple Circles jumper. It's being blocked at the moment, soon to be ready for final making up, and I will certainly model it for you to see! I've already started the Persian Tiles throw, so that I've got something to be working on while my hubby is around, and when he's not, I'm making excellent progress on the kitty throw border which is really fun to do.

    Happy belated WOYWW,
