Christmas and WOYWW

This week has been void of crafty stuff I'm afraid.  Both of us have been fighting a bug of some kind (not Covid) and are now thankfully feeling much better, but it meant there was no enthusiasm or energy for pretty much anything!

So here's a festive photo and a lot of warm wishes to everyone to have a happy and peaceful Christmas - stay safe and well.

I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW

  4. I’m doing the rounds of all my favourite blogs in between making strawberry/sherry trifles ready for our family get togethers.....the jelly is just setting a little before I put it on (don’t want to dilute the sherry 😂). I’ve got no sewing today so making the most of my time.
Really hope you’re feeling much better very soon.
I just want to thank you for your friendship and for all the lovely comments over the last year. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and 2022 is a little kinder on us all.
    Hugs,

  5. I Diana, hope you're feeling better it just shows how easy it is to catch a virus but thank goodness it's not Covid. When we were still teaching I used to get a cold at least four two or three times a year and since leaving I've only had one so that might tell you something about children....as much as I loved them all! Your card arrived yesterday and it's beautiful, thank you so much. Wishing you both a lovely and very happy woyww Christmas. Hugs, Angela x11x

  9. In these Covid times we forget that there are other other bugs around as well - glad to hear you dealt with yours! I was just thinking my migraines are probably much worse than the headaches anyone would get with Covid, yet I'm supposed to push through them as it's "only" a headache. Lucky they don't last long. A lovely bowl of baubles! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Diana! Enjoy your time together! xx zsuzsa #21

  15. Argh, sorry you haven’t been well, and seriously remember that if it isn’t done yet, it can wait! The dish of baubles is delicious, I adore old glass ambles, and am very partial to them if they’re a kitschy style! A very warm and happy Christmas to you both, and I hope improved health! Xx

Excuse lateness of reply. I felt unwell yesterday and ended up at GP surgery today. Water infection and on antibiotics. Have a lovely Christmas. Anne x 16
