TAG TUESDAY AND A GREEN THEME

Not only did Summer of Colour challenge me to work with the colour green this week (mint choc chip ice cream colours), but Tag Tuesday also had a green theme this week - double struggles going on!
However, I finally produced two tags - not because I was working away happily in the colour green but because I wanted to improve on the first tag!

They are made up of cut and torn images, phrases and words from an old book on trees I found in a charity shop.  I also used inks, pastels and acrylic paint.

  1. I like them both, actually. I like the sort of streaky, drippy thing you did with the paint/ink. And I love the tree theme. Very nice tags. They're sort of calming.

  5. I've read both posts so my comments are for both, I agree that I don't use the color green that much when crafting, BUT I adore green in decorating my home...weird. I love the art journal page you created for the Summer of Color challenge! Your tags are very creative, my favorite is the first one! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

  6. My favorite is the 2nd one - I love the contrasts of color and form, and the larger piece of the old book. I'm such an old book junkie....And "Lady of the Woods", something so magical about that, kind of Lord of the Rings...
