WOYWW #158

It's that time of the week again, for Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday - when loads of people link up over at Julia's Stamping Ground and share views of their work desks. And here's my desk -

My sketch book shows a start on next week's ice-cream challenge over at Twinkle Twinkle - the colour combination we are working on is minty green and dark brown, for Mint Choc Chip - I still have quite a lot of work to do on it though.
Surrounding my sketch book is a bag of lace bits, a box of 'cool colour' matchpot paints (I have too many for one box so have divided them into cool and warm colours!), a hot plate, some foil pudding dishes (useful for EVERYTHING including melting wax), sticks of beeswax, Golden Gel, and a new roll of red and white bakers twine from Papermash that I have no idea what I am going to do with but really had to buy!!!  And that's about it folks!

  1. Thanks for stopping by my desk. I couldn't resist the Mint Choc Chip colours this week and made an ATC straight away. I wear a lot of brown and greens too. The jar is a prayer jar inspired from the Scrapbook your faith book. My Persian accents nestis die cut lace fitted round exactly round my Robinson's marmalade jar - what luck! BJ#8

  3. Hi Diana, love your page, the mint green is looking good and will be very dramatic once you add chocolate (all I can think of now is ice cream!). I love bakers twine, I even use it to wrap little gifts, to hang pendants and bunting and to decorate cards. I am sure you will think of lots of other uses too. Thank you for your visit. Anne x #30

  4. That's one eclectic mix of items on your desk - you could play that game where one person looks away and one item is removed and then you have to guess what went!! The mint green is such a lovely cool colour - I like what you've done in the book already!!

  17. Oooh Diana, juicy and lovely! I love the idea of getting inspiration from an ice cream lol!! Very seasonal too. I love all the interesting stuff on your desk, and it's always nice to see another fan of Golden! I adore their gels. Definitely a Desert Island Artists' Materials can't-do-without lol!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog - you are very kind! Sorry to leave you tantalised. If you look at my next post you will see close-ups of everything!

Sorry to be so long responding but I've been having problems with my comments awaiting moderation not being visible - it turns out it's a Blogger/Firefox problem since the latest Firefox upgrade, so I'm temporarily using IE till they sort it out - hopefully soon!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
