Some of you may vaguely recognise the printers tray in this weeks post - it was on my desk about a year ago, as a project that I was in the middle of. Well, it has been on my desk ever since - pushed to the back with things piled on it! I finally got round to completing it and putting it on my new (or rather not so new) bathroom wall this week.
And on my actual desk this week is a fab article and some beautiful ribbon sent to me by Lynn from One I Made Earlier Today. A huge thank you Lynn, and I love the postcard of your beautiful embroidery.
I am linking up with Julia over at WOYWW - where we all have a good nose at other peoples work desks!
Oh great job on the tray. Lots to look at and it's full of wonder. Are the numbers significant? Well done you for getting it done...am glad to read that even leaving it right on your desk doesn't guarantee a really quick finish!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic job with the printers tray... I love it. Helen 5
ReplyDeleteOh! this will look stunning on your bathroom wall. It's lovely :)

LOVE your tray of treasures...stunning! x
ReplyDeleteFantastic tray Diana. Will you leave it me in your will haha (standing joke I have with a friend when we like something)
ReplyDeleteI machine stitched the card itself Diana. It took it quite well. Give it a whirl. Glad you liked your bits and pieces
Lynn xx
That tray is like an Edwardian Cabinet of Curiosities! Lots of interesting items to peruse. It reminded me of a ready made version of one of your photo mosaics!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to receive that beautiful embroidery from Lynn...and making a postcard from a photo is a clever idea. Do you do that? If not, you should...some of your pics would make great cards :-)
Hugs, LLJ 40 xxx
Louise Nevelson would be proud of you. That's the first thing I thought when I saw the drawer. Great job. xo Jenny

Hi Diana
ReplyDeleteoh wow I love your finished project and I think it is the sort of thing that had to grow over time as you collected bits that would fit in it. I bet it really adds the wow factor to your bathroom.
That ribbon is amazing is there any chance of finding out where I can buy some of that from?
Sending hugs and hoping you have a great day

I'm really impressed with your printer's tray. It is incredible, and so well done. I spent way too much time perusing it. Love all the cubbies. I can see why it took so long to finish.

Oh my gosh, what a great job you did on the tray. I especially love that little skull. Now you've motivated me to try and find one - I have so many little things, that need to be corralled and enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ribbon - I can see why she sent it to you!
Awesome collection of goodies and awesome way to display them. Happy Wednesday! SueC#129
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, Just going through the desks and so glad I dropped in on yours to see your printers tray. I found one at a car boot sale like you about a year ago and have been trying to decide if I should paint it or not. Now I have seen yours in its original glory with all those little treasures inside my mind is made up. Thank you for sharing and for inspiration. I had a laugh at Lynn's comment about leaving it to her in your will teehe! Hugs Mo x #60
ReplyDeleteOoohhhh... what a wonderful tray!!! Now I would love to have something like that on my wall... my bathroom is too small for it though, but some place else would be just fine too :) Happy, belated, woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #109
ReplyDeleteThat ribbon is divine - so pretty - I can think of lots to do with it... Love your printers tray too... - happy WOYWW [Friday cheat - I am a bit slow lol] Mxx #169
ReplyDeleteLove the sea collection and that ribbon is gorgeous! OK, now it's confession time for me, because here I am on Friday making my way around the WOYWW board, hoping against hope to solicit some votes for a contest I am in. Horrible, aren't I? Just shameless, but here I am all the same! So if you feel the urge to go vote for me, I sure would appreciate from the bottom of my pitiful heart! lol http://www.genuinelyjanestudios.com/genuinelyblog/gjs-design-a-book-contest-top-three-finalists-announced/ waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
