I was intrigued to find a piece of old crackle glazed sea pottery with what looked like a raised flower stem on it - I knew I had use it, and these three little card toppers, made on blank ATC's are what resulted.
I lined up the little ridge in the pottery with the stem of the die cut flower, and I used the orangey/blue colour of the old crackle glaze to influence the background inks and the crackle stamping on the the die cut stems.
I'm linking up with Julia this week, over at What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday.
These ATCs are exquisite colours I LOVE the evocation of old pottery

Thanks for your return visit, Diana. Yes, I was absolutely amazed to get my little prayer book back! Our kitties certainly are fun to live with - never a dull moment. They are utterly adorable and both have sweet characters, although Lily is incredibly willful and disobedient at times! After our very busy time, I'm really tired now and having to rest which means I still can't get in the studio, but at least I can do some knitting, and catch up a bit on the computer till I feel better again.

You never cease to amaze me with your artistic craftiness - what a lovely way to use the pottery scraps. xx Jo
