Colour Plunge Collage!

I've been working on challenge 5 - Colour Plunge - in Randel Plowman's Collage Workbook this week and the prompt is to make a (mostly) monochromatic collage.  I couldn't decide on which colour so ended up doing several and will probably do some more as I'm enjoying these a lot!

Just as I was about to pack up and tidy everything away yesterday evening I remembered to take a desk shot - several things are out of shot so it's actually messier than it looks - add a pair of scissors, a steel rule and another two punches!

I am linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.

  3. How different are these. First of all a very quiet and restful piece and then Wham! Bright bright colours to waken me up. Maybe I am feeling a bit sleepy still as `I do like the first one most of all, or maybe it has something to do with teal being a favourite colour of mine and it's along the same spectrum.
Can see why you are enjoying these - I bet there are more coming.

  8. My word Diana, you do work tidily! Am not surprised you’re enjoying this monochromatic prompt, you’re so dang good at it! Love love love the green, reminds me of a door somewhere in Spain, direct sun and gently and with dignity, the paint had faded to that colour and was peeling. More atmposhere than a ghost train!!

  12. They are all so cool, my favorite is the first one but probably because I just love that color. I do like how you used the stamps in the last one, I have been saving stamps off of mail I receive and haven't used them yet, this is great inspiration!

  13. WOW they are all so beautiful and great colors. I like the purple, just don't see that much of it. I am terrible at collage. in a group I adore, but I can't seem to do it in a timely manner. Spend TOO much time looking and wanting perfection... Thanks for sharing, enjoy a Happy WOYWW day .

  15. Oho...I have some old stamps...when I was about three I took them off some letters hidden in my mum's cupboard...She was very cross with me! Now she's passed away and I have those letters, I know why! The stamps I think I might scan them and then use them, they look more detailed then they are today. love what you've been up to this week! Keep Crafting! Happy late woyww ((Lyn))#19
