I've been working on challenge 5 - Colour Plunge - in Randel Plowman's Collage Workbook this week and the prompt is to make a (mostly) monochromatic collage. I couldn't decide on which colour so ended up doing several and will probably do some more as I'm enjoying these a lot!
Just as I was about to pack up and tidy everything away yesterday evening I remembered to take a desk shot - several things are out of shot so it's actually messier than it looks - add a pair of scissors, a steel rule and another two punches!
I am linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.
Ooooh, interesting, they’re all so incredibly different - think the purplicious one is my favourite but how marvellous that you’ve enjoyed doing them so much!ReplyDelete

How wonderful are these? So rewarding when you enjoy the process and the result!! Have a good week. Love n hugs Cindy xx #14ReplyDelete
How different are these. First of all a very quiet and restful piece and then Wham! Bright bright colours to waken me up. Maybe I am feeling a bit sleepy still as `I do like the first one most of all, or maybe it has something to do with teal being a favourite colour of mine and it's along the same spectrum.ReplyDelete
Can see why you are enjoying these - I bet there are more coming.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx
So glad you’re enjoying these challenges. The green and violet ones are my favourites. It’s amazing how distinctive they are.ReplyDelete
Take care and happy WOYWW
Three totally different collages engendering totally different reactions. Love them all. I think I would be hard put to find scraps colour wise, but y9u could always print them to suit! Happy WOYWW Angela #7ReplyDelete
Hi Diana, fabulous results for the challenge they look brilliant all of them. You are tempting me to use up some of my stamp collection too. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x15xReplyDelete
Ooh, look at you playing with the rainbow (one colour at a time!). Lovely collages, and they each have their own impact.ReplyDelete
My word Diana, you do work tidily! Am not surprised you’re enjoying this monochromatic prompt, you’re so dang good at it! Love love love the green, reminds me of a door somewhere in Spain, direct sun and gently and with dignity, the paint had faded to that colour and was peeling. More atmposhere than a ghost train!!ReplyDelete
It’s a case of better late than never with me today...it was an early start for me and I’ve been head down sewing all day.....needs must. I’m now sat babysitting so have a little time to visit my favourite blogs.ReplyDelete
I’m really loving what you’ve been working on this week....love the colours.

whilst I love purple, I think the first one is my favourite but maybe it's the overall look of the piece... there are all fab, though! Happy WOYWW Helen #2ReplyDelete
Oh very nice, love the purple one, my favourite colour the stamps are super on it. I quite like the top more pastel green one too, quite relaxing. Thanks for the visit BJ#17ReplyDelete
They are all so cool, my favorite is the first one but probably because I just love that color. I do like how you used the stamps in the last one, I have been saving stamps off of mail I receive and haven't used them yet, this is great inspiration!ReplyDelete
WOW they are all so beautiful and great colors. I like the purple, just don't see that much of it. I am terrible at collage. in a group I adore, but I can't seem to do it in a timely manner. Spend TOO much time looking and wanting perfection... Thanks for sharing, enjoy a Happy WOYWW day .ReplyDelete
Great variety! And so cool!ReplyDelete

Oho...I have some old stamps...when I was about three I took them off some letters hidden in my mum's cupboard...She was very cross with me! Now she's passed away and I have those letters, I know why! The stamps I think I might scan them and then use them, they look more detailed then they are today. love what you've been up to this week! Keep Crafting! Happy late woyww ((Lyn))#19ReplyDelete
Love all the collage....monochrome is one of my fave styles.ReplyDelete
