Afternoon Tea!

What could be more delightful than afternoon tea at a picturesque little cafe on a disused railway station in the heart of Hampshire?   I heard about Horsebridge Station through my blog friend Karen over at Little Crafting Miss, and as it's fairly near to where we live I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of it before!  So the hubs and I set off, and had the most delicious cake I've ever eaten, and tea with real tea leaves and a tea strainer - just like the old days!  Thank you Karen!

I am linking up with Mary over at Mosaic Monday.

  12. What a pretty mosaic. My husband collects trains and is in every way a train enthusiast. I will have to show him this. I am a new follower, having found your blog on Mosaic Monday. I would love for you to visit me at Still Woods Farmhouse. Have a wonderful day!

  13. Wonderful Diana. I once went to an old railway station that had been made into a tearoom called Brief Encounter, it was fab.

Visiting via Mary's. Your afternoon tea mosaic is most enchanting and, as you say, a pretty nod to those good old days of cozy comforts!
