On my desk this week I have a nest in a spoon!
I collect pretty teaspoons from charity shops and decided I needed to use some up before buying any more!
A huge thank you to everyone for their kind wishes last week - I really appreciated them, and now I'm back in the world of NHS time I'm hoping I won't have to wait too long to be sorted out again!
I am linking up with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
You have a spoon fetish too?? You're as bad as Julia, lol!! She's got a thing for them so you two would have fun on a shopping trip :-) But how can you fail to be delighted by that sweet little nest sitting so prettily in the bowl of that rather beautifully shaped spoon...completely gorgeous!
ReplyDelete(But don't tell Julia that I liked a spoon, I'll never hear the end of it!!)

ReplyDeleteInventive and creative as ever! You must have a fascinating collection of treasures to use for your assemblages. I love the way you carefully and so thoughtfully put everything together. You are a creative Craft curator!
ReplyDeleteI just love all the things you collect - I'd love to shop with you! This is an absolutely beautiful spoon, even more so now, that tiny tiny nest is so sweet.

what a gorgeous alteration, absolutely stunning :) Lea - number 32
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Diana - what a fabulous presentation of a beautiful spoon!! How you manage to manipulate all these little bits into such a lovely whole never ceases to amaze me.... just stunning! And where did you came up with such teeny tiny eggs for this sweet little nest?? I imagine this as a spring hummingbird nest in your nearby forest (even though I suspect that would not be a typical bird for that environment - that is the beauty of imagination, right?). Best wishes getting back to your normal "timezone" as it were.....will be thinking of you. xxx Lynn
ReplyDeleteWow Diana, this is so beautiful!!! So delicate and lovely! Good luck with your treatment schedule.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! The spoon itself was a great find I would say, but what you did with it is just brilliant! Love this little message of Spring, so delicate and pretty!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the treatment, hope they won't make you wait too long!
