For the Paper Artsy challenge we have had to use sprays.
I was inspired when I saw Leandra's video and I realised I have that same beautiful green Adirondack spray called 'Lettuce'!
It was perfect for my Emergence of Spring project,
and it was perfect for moss!
I used teabags backed with Vilene, Adirondack sprays, velvet, silk thread, silver wire, beads, rubber stamps and distress ink.
What a gorgeous project! Your seasons work is so beautiful, Diana! I can never decide if I have a favorite. I love them all. Hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness Diana, how stunning are your Emergence Of Spring tea bags!!! Lettuce spray is a wonderful verdant green and when you see these up close they are just breath taking...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! It does look like moss and unfurling ferns. I've never tried sewing tea bags you inspire me to try Diana. I bet these look even better in person.
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented Diana. I'm sharing this post with friends of mine who are in the Embroiderers Guild I know they will be oohing and aahing
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!! I just so adore the different techniques you use! This takes a colour spray to a whole new level!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. You are so imaginative and talented Diana.
ReplyDeleteWow. It looked so mossy when I first looked at the pictures, I just stared and stared til I figured it out. Such amazing detail. I have that same spray as well, gorgeous but I always manage to get my fingers covered with it for days after I use it!
ReplyDeleteoh ! love it
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful tiny work, I love all the details and lettuce is one of my favourite colours! Perfect! Elaine x
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! Do you know how much I love moss? A lot. I took a ton of pictures at castles and historic sites in Germany, and half of them were of the moss growing on the ancient and medieval stones. You've represented moss so well with your velvet and your beading! And I love that you're still working on teabags. Are you emptying them out before you work on them?
