Playing with Texture Paste

I've had a busy couple of weeks where I just haven't had the chance to do much arty crafty stuff, but I needed a couple of cards for this month, so that made me sit down and do something!
While having a clear out recently I discovered a few pots of texture paste that I have never used so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try them out - luckily they hadn't dried out.

I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.

  9. I love how you used the texture paste - lucky the haven't dried out - that could easily happen. So much dimension with the paste and the die cuts - I love those swirly snails! Thanks for your visit earlier, Diana! Hope you have a good week! zsuzsa #21

  10. Y0pu were so lucky with your paste. Now you should use both quickly before they dry up.

I always love coming to see you, because you use such incredible and imaginative art, whether it's a mixed media canvas or a mixed media card. These latest cards are out of this world. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

  11. Hi Diana, your cards look lovely, but the close up shots look amazing! Such great detail. Thanks for sharing. I'm a long way from attempting anything like that, I just enjoy seeing how wonderfully creative other deskers are! Thanks for stopping by earlier. My gym space is half a converted garage. Mr M has worked so hard on it, I will have to get plenty of use out of it! Have a lovely week Heather x #12

  13. Hi Diana, love the texture on your cards. Just a tip before you put the lid on those jars just spray water over the paste and it will help it to stay damp and not dry up. Of course I will show you the dragon eyes, finished them this afternoon but there are some early ones here too: https://angelacuttingandcarving.blogspot.com/2018/08/woyww-481-whats-on-your-workdesk.html

  18. Such beautiful, delicate work, as always - the textured organic shapes provide a lovely tactile background for the intricate flower die-cut, and the underwater scene is magical.

  20. I just love these. I have a whole cabinet of mediums I've barely used - this inspires me to see if I can get the lids off to see if I have dried husks of product in there or something I can create something beautiful with like you did!
