I had a lovely, relaxing 'play' session in my studio yesterday and made this rather fussy tag for no reason other than the fun of it. I flung everything at it - I stamped, crackled and foiled! I then added some vivid blue glass beads simply because they are my latest passion!
I'm linking up with Julia this week over at Whats On Your Work Desk Wednesday.
So glad you "flung everything at it" because the end result is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this beautiful tag.

It is stunningly beautiful, gorgeous with the crackle and foiling , and the blue glass beads ,bringing up the dark blue , from behind , and puts it all to a sparkling whole , together with gold and copper - you always inspire me, dear Diana. Thank you .

Ooooh, I can see why you like those little beads, they're like tiny nuggets of lapis lazuli. What a intense and beautiful colour. Gorgeous tags, as ever....love your work. I've seen those plastic bag mats on FB, they must be quick to make on huge hooks!

Beautiful work Diana. I love the layers of texture and interest, scrumptious! In answer to your question about the 3rd one down, it is a gel print with doodling over the top. Thanks for the lovely comment. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Ooo gorgeous, Diana! I'm very envious of the fabulous blue glass beads - where did you find those? They go so beautifully with the copper wire. Nice complimentary colours! Thank you for your lovely comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing our sleepy girlies! I went to the dentist today to get my niggling toothache sorted and he did a temp. filling in the wisdom tooth which was cracked, but as I suspected, there was also a problem in the next tooth and now the anaesthetic has worn off, it's hurting again, so I'm going to have to go back sooner than I thought. I've also got laryngitis and have absolutely no voice, so I can't talk on the phone and I can't call my hubby if I want him! Very frustrating!

Ooh, I think I'm going to call that style "glam Baroque"! Amazing gilding and crackle, and I adore the wire wrapping with those vivid beads like tiny buds ready to burst forth at the end of the wiry stems. Another stunning creation.
