Christmas Gift Boxes and WOYWW

The Christmas preparations are done - the last of the cards and tags have been made and presents posted, and I've just finished two little gift boxes for my brother-in-law and nephew.   Now I just have to remember to put the gift card and cash in them, or that could be embarrassing!

I'm linking up with Julia over at WOYWW this week.

I hope you all have a happy, safe and creative festive season, and here's hoping 2021 will be a kinder year to us all.

  5. I'm guilty of forgetting to put those things inside too Diana, I've had to reseal quite a few that my Mother had prepared to send this year too so I will blame her for my muddled mind hee hee! A beautiful way to receive a money gift, i'd not want to open it.
Wishing you all the best for the Season Merry Christmas Hugs Tracey xx

  6. Lovely gift boxes - such exquisite, unique designs! I wouldn't raise an eyebrow if there was nothing in them - I would just assume that's the present itself! Have a lovely Christmas Diana - and best wishes for the New Year as well! xx zsuzsa #21

  12. Hi I'm here at last. It's been a busy day as the washing machine is feeling poorly and the second guy has been out to try and fix it and we think he has now found the problem but can't complete the job until the new year. Following his visit we went to pick up the Christmas order from the supermarket. I must say I love the little gift boxes they are so sweet. Wishing you a Christmas as happy as it can be. Hugs, Angela x10x

Thank you for your lovely comments throughout the year and for the lovely little charms that I still cherish but have not yet used.

  17. Oh I don't know Diana those gift card holders are so pretty they are a present in themselves! Sorry I'm late, didn't have a great day yesterday but much better today. Still waiting for test results for 'children', (26, 27 and 29) they are getting very frustrated - all the treats are in the living room!! I'm already on the barley water, here''s hoping it works long term because I have had enough of these infections - and it tastes better than cranberry! Stay well, stay safe and have a very Merry Christmas! You certainly get my vote for a better 2021. Love n hugs, Cindy xx

  18. Hi Diana, I love the gift card holders. I sometimes give my sons-in-lae gift cards, so they can get what they want - this would be a great idea for me. Thanks for stopping by - I love the monochrome style too, and I am currently enjoying playing with the Lavinia stamps. Have a lovely Christmas, Heather xx #30

  20. Your gift boxes are just gorgeous, Diana! I am sure they went down a treat, and I hope the recipients appreciated how much work went into them. Thank you for your visit, and sorry for the delay in replying - a busy few days and feeling pretty exhausted! Thank you for your kind words about my Celtic card. I love doing shading - it really lifts the design, I think. I always do it on my Zentangles too. Kitties are always funny with boxes. If you haven't already, you should seek out Maru, the boxiest kitty on the Internet - he lives in Japan with his sister Hana and a new little sister Miri - https://www.youtube.com/user/mugumogu - I'm not surprised Maru has such a huge following - he's unique and always makes me laugh with his antics.

So glad you liked my outfit - dark red is my favourite colour too!

I'm working hard on the kitty throw. I'm not even half way with the squares yet! I've got loads to make because I want to make a nice big throw to protect my hubby's new chair

Have a happy New Year and happy belated WOYWW,
