This was taken in the garden and I used an Eva Ricci texture on it.
I wasn't sure if this worked or not, but it's growing on me - I quite like that shade of green with the brownish sepia tones.
This is the large platter that lives in my kitchen with the fruit on it - and the occasional good-looking veg!
The smaller bowl is from Anthropologie and I love it - I do tend to buy more lemons and limes than I can get through because they look so good in it!
Stunning, stunning pictures - my favourites so far!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week :)
I like all of your still lifes and all the hues of green represented. I especially like the contrast in the second photo.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos! Again my favorite green and the way you composed the photos is beautiful. I like the sepia toned one with the green fruit as the only color! I would be putting lemons and limes in that Anthropology bowl too. It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeletewonderful photos, and what a cool effect to bring in only the green in the pears! wow
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteWow - Diana, amazing photos! I LOVE how the small dotted surface of the pears complements the avocado, lemons and limes. I can just smell the freshness!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos again, Diana! I love the textures you've put on them, the first pic especially is wonderful! I have a lemon fetish too...I'm always buying them for the look!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ xxx
All you photos are fantastic, but I like the first one best.
ReplyDeleteSuch amazing photos - and lovely shades of green. You're making me hungry for fruit! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteWow!! gorgeous images
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos and beautiful greens!
ReplyDeleteWonderful selection, you really are great at photography Diana. When ive stopped embroidering I would like to do more photography
ReplyDeleteDiana, I love the textured background you used! All your shots are beautiful, I especially love the last one.
ReplyDeleteDiana you did great with your green pics. My favorite is the black and white background and the colored pears.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. There's something about the shape of pears that are wonderful in a still life.
ReplyDeleteDiana, your photos are pieces of art, for sure. I especially like the green and sepia one..it is very calming, even though that shade of green is usually not a calming colour.
ReplyDeleteYou captured this prompt in a very inspiring way. Lovely composition and that bowl is incredible!
ReplyDeleteOh my such gorgeous photos!! I love the Eva Ricci on the first one. What perfect wall art that would make.
ReplyDeleteYour pears look so edible! Love the fruits and veggies... I don't have a counter at the moment as my kitchen is in destruct mode!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE your photo's this week! You should frame them!!
ReplyDeleteLove the one with the variety of fruits and the artichoke.I hear you about buying more limes and lemons just to see them in the bowl!
ReplyDeleteI love your bowl! And the fruits and veggies look yummy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - I really like like the combination of colors in your 2nd picture too. I'm also more of a buyer than a consumer of lemons and limes - they're just so pretty, but many do end up getting dumped in a rather shriveled state!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm so behind on my blog reading! I love seeing what you've been working on, and these photos are spectacular! So vibrant. And yes, I know what you mean about buying foods just to decorate with them ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your photos - the second one is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteSweet bowls too :)
