I don't have much on my desk to show this week so I thought I would take a photo of the dish that has water, sponges and pins always handy - and of course the stuff that shouldn't be there, like an necklace that needs mending and some corkboard pins awaiting a new corkboard! There is nothing like taking a photo of your desk to show just how much your water pot needs cleaning - I really hadn't noticed how messy it was until I saw the photo!
I had to include a close-up of my favourite mug from Anthropologie and my treasured vintage style pincushion.
If you want to see what's on other people's desks this week why not pop over to WOYWW and have a snoop.
what a very elegant table!! Helen, 5

ReplyDeleteI laughed at your dirty water pot! I'm so glad that it's not just me who looks at her photos and groans!! Up til now, there has never been anything very incriminating...but give me time :-)

Hugs, LLJ 36 xxxx
Ps. The hare print is on the living room wall...I keep forgetting to take a pic to show you!
Oh I love the cup with sponges and your vintage pin cushion, how pretty they look sat on your desk, the whole tray would make a great subject for a still life painting, maybe minus the dirty water pot lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy art making

your desk looks very elegant to me not messy at all. I thought it was sugar lumps in the cup but on closer inspection I think they are sponges.

Looks ready for a tea party rather than making a mess!! Gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your very elegant table. Nice!!!
ReplyDeleteLeave it to you to have such elegant looking basic art necessities! You've put me to shame - my water container is a pickle jar I can't even see through anymore.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love Anthropologie? I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when we finally got one here, but it's a dangerous place I try to not go to very often.
It's your fault if there's no bread on the table this week because I've spent the money at Anthropolgy
ReplyDeleteLooking at your mug Diana it could well happen

It is cleaner than my water pot, and with far more excuse as my pot lives next to the sink! Love you sponge mug.
