Focus On Life #26 and the Tate Modern

This week for the Focus on Life challenge over at the Studio Sublime, we were given a free choice to photograph something we had focused on this week.  For me it had to be my visit to the Tate Modern in London.  I had a wonderful time wandering through the galleries and photographing all the amazing art that took my eye.

Lunch at the Tate cafe - and what a wonderful view of St Paul's Cathedral from the cafe balcony!

I loved these pieces of work - clockwise from top left:
Chen Zhen, Eileen Agar, Pino Pascali and Mark Rothko.

  1. Fantastic Diana. I saw a Frida Kahlo exhibition when I went some years ago and I've seen a Mark Rothko exhibition in Kendal, Cumbria. His pieces are wonderful.

  21. Wonderful photos, all of them, Diana. It must have been amazing visiting the Tate Modern. I have never been.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my various posts. It's certainly an exciting time - in more ways than one! I am trying not to worry about the test but can't help thinking if it's worst case scenario, it couldn't have come at a worse time. I've got so much to do, and am so excited about our new home and everything that is happening in my life at the moment! It would certainly be an added complication that would put me out of action for a while... Anyway, I am hanging on to the statistic of only 1 in 10 being cancer, and hope I get the test, and the result, really soon, to end the uncertainty.
